Here we go then... my own website. Created by me, mostly by reading the tutorials that were provided in the program (for those of you that are interested it is called Dreamweaver). Its supposed to be quite easy do do, though I'm not sure about that there are still a lot of things I can't work out. Anyway my page is supposed to be about things I've been up to (this could be a very short page) and to give some up to date pictures - not that I change much and I don't really know if anyone is actually interested, but it will keep me occupied for some more evenings as I try to keep it up to date. Please excuse any errors ommisions, spelling mistakes, broken links and all the other technical and non-technical stuff that may not right. |

Ballooning I went in a hot air balloon on 9th September. Churchill actually have 2 balloons and I got to go on a ride in one, taking off from Leeds castle at 6am. It was an amazing experience and one I would really recommend. To see more balloon pictures click here

Interesting things: Fancy a pizza? Call Arnie's pizza shop (careful though I nearly wet myself laughing at this!) Has Christmas been sanitized? What do you think? What to see Eric's "Giant Morning Wood"? Check his other emotions - brilliant This is possibly the best feelgood song ever, never mind your Ronan Keatings and your Blue's what you want is BA Baracus with Bruce Lee's num chuckers JCB song Another good song is the Ebay song. Listen to the words carefully. Try going to Google and typing "Failure" then clicking on the "I'm feeling lucky" option. Interesting result huh! While we're on that subject try this game Bush shootout. This is a really interesting site How stuff works If any of you have any interesting web stuff then send it to me and I'll add it on to this section Herbert family tree. Whilst I was searching around for interesting things to add here, I found this www.herbertfamilytree.com a whole website dedicated to finding Herbert's all over the world. Looking at it there are a lot of us and the site is far more impressive that mine (but we won't dwell on that). I didn't recognise anyone on it but there were some other Andrew Herberts and Nicholas Herberts.

Vegetables... This is not really something I thought I'd ever be talking about but we have recently been introduced to Riverford organic vegetables (thanks Mum). Basically you order the size of box you want and they deliver it to your house (small box contains potatos, brussels, a squash (!), onions, spinach, mushrooms, parsnips, water cress all for £8 delivered - billy bargain!). Because they are organic you don't really know what veggies you are going to get (as they are totally seasonal). We tried them for the first time today and they taste fantastic (even had a caterpillar on them). For the first time Ben has eaten potatos and he'll happily work his way through one of their apples. Go on try it much better than super market and saves you the hassle of going and getting them they even give you a recipe for some of the veggies - only thing is you have to wash mud off. |
